Hi again (and happy holidays!)
I have another new track up! This one is the most recent one I've written, which was roughly a month ago. I hope I'm keeping the quality consistent, but I realize that the songs have quite a range of time between some of them. Nevertheless, I'm trying my best to make this next EP as well put-together as I can.
Connection is sort of a "rock bottom" moment in this project. During the process of writing this album, I fell into a rough bout of writers block. This ultimately left me feeling very directionless, as music is one of my favorite things in the world. I felt like I had lost someone I cared about, and that even if they were still around, I'd ultimately tarnish our relationship with my state of mind. I may have captured that feeling in this track, or at least, I hope I did. This song already has a bit of a resolution in the full EP, but I like that it ends so bleak on its own
That aside, a few things of note:
1. I want to put out one more teaser. I think that'll be a good way to end off this round of teaser tracks while hopefully giving me time to finish everything up
2. I'm trying to finish work up on one more song. I'm hoping this can be a really good centerpiece to the EP, but I don't want to over promise too much
3. In the next few months leading up to the release, I want to finally put out the T-shirt design I've been sitting on. I've been putting it off for way too long
That's it for now. I hope you like my song. These tracks are some of my favorite I've made despite the horribly slow output, so I really hope they've been worth the wait
