It's been a while. About a year, give or take. Despite the very long silence, I have been hard at work.
Since the last time I posted, I have uploaded a few times. They were mostly meme edits and one original track, but nothing seemed substantial enough to warrant a post here. In between work and school, I had done some work on a game soundtrack and a brand new EP. The former is completely finished and the latter is finally at a point where I am ready to start releasing some of the demos as teasers.
- The Soundtrack -
I've been sitting on the compositions for this since November of last year. If the game remains in development, I will have wait to release the songs until the game releases to the public. It is a close friend's indie project in very early development, so there is the potential that it could be a very long time before this is possible. That said, I am very proud of the music I have made here and I am determined to have it released at some point, even if the game is cancelled (hopefully this doesn't happen though!)
- The New EP -
I plan to keep the title of my new project a secret for a little while longer, but I finally have a good portion of my planned number of songs ready (around 6/8 but I have a good amount of the 7th done as well). I'll start slowly releasing the teaser tracks soon both here and on my SoundCloud. I'm so happy to be finally releasing new music again, and I think that some of the tracks I have collected are really great
- Other Things -
I've also been sitting on a few T-shirt designs for a bit now. I planned on releasing them when I signed to the UMBC student-run record label that I had signed to briefly before Contrast released, but then Covid hit. Before I knew it, the contract was up and I had designs with no manufacturer. I'm thinking that Teespring might be good to handle it, but I'll decide in the coming months. Notsogood. (the designer for the Contrast album cover) put in some awesome work on an original design for the shirt so I'd really hate for that work to go to waste.
